If you have never been to Lecco, this is the experience for you.
We will move outdoors through the streets of the city and along the banks of the unique east branch of Lake Como. Precisely the place from which Alessandro Manzoni took inspiration to write his well-known novel “I Promessi Sposi”, The Betrothed.

It will be a two-hour walk outdoors, through the streets of the city and along the Adda river.

We will start walking from the heart of the old medieval village, taking our first steps on the characteristic porphyry. We will pass by one of the tallest bell towers in Italy, that of the Basilica of San Nicolò, which measures 96 meters. We will see the historic Viscontea Tower, the beautiful squares and the lakeside promenade. Perhaps walking with a nice gelato, we will enjoy the relaxing charm of the Adda river as we move towards the typical village of Pescarenico, passing the Azzone Visconti bridge and the Visconti island. We will conclude our tour in Piazza Era, where you can choose whether to return to the center or enjoy a few more hours in this little corner of paradise, perhaps sipping a glass of wine and tasting the typical products of our area: perch fish risotto.

You will have the feeling of being a local in Lecco, just as if you had lived there. Actually, being guided by someone who was born and grew up in the area, is always the best choice any traveler can make.
